(More customer reviews)For a lot of fans of stand-up comedy when you hear that Katt Williams is coming out with a new DVD you get quite excited. In fact, if you're just a Katt Williams fan and not so big on other comedians the idea of a new Katt Williams video is awesome. But this particular DVD isn't exactly "new" if you've seen a lot of Katt Williams's material. In fact the footage is much older then some of his previous entries. The material is simply recycled with other footage off the stage.
Don't get me wrong. The material in the video is extremely funny, but if you already have "Katt Williams Live" DVD(which is also on Netflix online streaming) you do not need to pick up this DVD unless you need to own everything Katt Williams. Of course every comedian uses material over again. But the jokes have "all" been heard before(a few slightly altered). Not to mention the crowd from Cincinnati in "Katt Williams Live" is much better then the crowd from Washington DC in this video.
The idea that some guy in the crowd thought a peripheral was a car is funny, not to mention the joke seems improvised. Not this time around.

A gleeful Joe couldn't be happier at Madea's misfortune. But Madea's eccentric family members the Browns rally behind her, lending their special "country" brand of support. Meanwhile, Assistant District Attorney Joshua Hardaway is on the fast track to career success. But Hardaway lands a case too personal to handle - defending young prostitute and former drug addict Candace Washington - and asks his fiancee and fellow ADA Linda Holmes to fill in on his behalf. When Candace ends up in jail, Madea befriends the young woman, protecting her in a "motherly" way as only Madea can.
The cast led by Tyler Perry (back in his roles as Madea / Brian / Joe), Derek Luke (as Joshua Hardaway), & Keshia Knight Pulliam (as Candace Washington) is great! The directing and story and screenplay by Perry (who also produced) (who also produced and directed and wrote the stories and screenplays to "Madea's Family Reunion" (2006, also starred as Madea / Brian / Joe), "Daddy's Little Girls" (2007), "Why Did I Get Married?" (2007, also starred as Terry), "Meet The Browns" (2008, also starred as Madea / Joe) & "The Family That Preys" (2008, also starred as Ben), he also wrote and produced "Diary Of A Mad Black Woman" (2005, also starred as Madea / Brian / Joe) is great!
The music by Aaron Zigman (who also did the music to Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?", "Meet The Browns", & "The Family That Preys" is great! The cinematography by Alexander Gruszynski (who also did the cinematography to "This Christmas" (2007) is great! The film editing by Maysie Hoy (who has been doing the casting to Perry's films since "Daddy's Little Girls") is great! The production design by Ina Mayhew (who has been doing the production design on Perry's films since "Diary Of A Mad Black Woman") is great! The casting by Kim Hardin (who also did the casting to "This Christmas") is great! The art direction by Mark Erbaugh (who also did the art direction to "The Family That Preys") is great! The costume design by Keith G. Lewis (who has been doing the costume design to Perry's films since "Diary Of A Mad Black Woman") is great!
This is an great comedy that is funny and heartwarming at times. This is another hit from Tyler Perry. Madea's back and funnier than ever.

Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins (Widescreen) (2008) Review

(More customer reviews)I love pretty much anything that Mo'nique is in and anything Martin is in. To see them here together was a real treat. This movie is fun and enjoyable and sure it's corny and silly in some parts, but you can't take it too seriously. The cast is great (Nicole Ari Parker, James Earl Jones, Cedric the Entertainer, Joy Bryant etc) and the story fun.
Roscoe has moved across the country to get away from his family and is a talk show host out in LA. He goes back home to visit when it's his parents' 50th anniversary. It's there that we see exactly how zany his family really are and why he left in the first place. It's hilarious and yet we do also see him accept his family as they are too.
It's not Oscar material for sure, but it's a great movie for light entertainment with a terrific cast that will surely make you laugh. It's enjoyable and I really liked this one.

Also, this series was (it seems to me, anyway) meant for adults, not kids. That's why it's on ADULT Swim. This is a great series which Hot Topic hasn't killed yet.

Fat Albert (2004) Review

(More customer reviews)I usually stay away from comedies because most of them insult my intelligence, with crude humor and language substituting for smart (and funny) writing.
As a child of the 70's, I grew up watching Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids. I was hoping this movie wouldn't be a lame re-invention like Scooby-Doo (as an example).
Both my husband and I were pleasantly suprised! We laughed our butts off throughout the movie; it was hilarious to see "Fat Albert" and the gang doing a modern, hip-hop version of "Gonna Have a Good Time (Hey, Hey, Hey!)".
The plot is sweet, but it's not saccharine. There's enough clever humor and sight gags to please adults, as well as the kids (especially if you're familiar with the gang). One of my favorite parts is when Fat Albert and the guys pass a video shop. They see that they're coming out on "DIV-i-der" (the phonetic pronunciation of DVD. It's a lot funnier to see it...) Seeing what happens when cartoons from the 70's come to life in the modern world brings some very hilarious moments, to be sure!
Some interesting mysteries pop up, too: Does Dumb Donald have a face under that pink cap? Will Mush Mouth be relegated to mumbling through every conversation in "the real world"?
The most touching part of the DVD is the very end. I don't want to give it away, but I will say that I cried...and that is has to do with Bill Cosby and the real life people that Fat Albert and the gange were patterned after.
There's not a lot of features on this DVD, and I was hoping to hear stories from Cosby about the individuals he patterned the cartoon after. Still, the movie itself is definitely worth the price, and can be enjoyed by young and old alike.
Now, if I can just stop my husband and 6 year old from walking around the house saying "Hey, hey, hey!"...

Jennifer's Body (2009) Review

Tyler Perry appears briefly as his most beloved character Madea, but even this feels like an afterthought in the context of the movie.
Angela Bassett is out of place for this particular role, but excellent actress that she is, her character signifies hope for single mothers everywhere who may be feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of work, home and family.

Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns is a sitcom taken to the next level. Brenda (Angela Bassett) is a single mom struggling to raise her family in Chicago. When she receives a letter inviting her to attend her father's funeral, she's not sure how to feel: Brenda never knew the man and hadn't interacted with that part of her family. But when she loses her job, she decides that now's the time to shake things up. (And, as a friend suggests, there's always the chance her father left her a little money.) While the film's central character grew up with incredible hardships (a prostitute for a mother and a pimp for a father who didn't stick around), writer-director-actor Perry takes every opportunity to inject a little humor into the vignettes. It is not her fault that she is too gorgeous and regal to be believable in the role, but Bassett--a superb dramatic actress--is sorely miscast here in a role where her subtleties are lost in all the fuss. Meet the Browns isn't Perry's best piece of work, but the fast-paced action and raucous dialogue provide enough fun to make the film worthwhile. With his name prefacing each movie, Perry has developed a franchise that doesn't fail to deliver what his fans are accustomed to: some variation of a dysfunctional family comedy and the appearance of his most famous character Madea--a cranky grandmother played by Perry himself that manages to draw laughs, even when her inclusion sometimes is superfluous. --Jae-Ha Kim

The League of Gentlemen - The Collection (2000) Review

(More customer reviews)Absolutely Fabulous, Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses, Dad's Army, Are You Being Served?, Nighty Night and a whole host of other shows have proven to the world, time and again, that the greatest sitcoms come from merry old England. With a few notable exceptions, our British brothers and sisters seem to have nailed with microsurgical precision the art of getting television comedy right.
"The League of Gentlemen" began life as a series of short radio broadcasts, and featured a whole host of grim characters in macabre situations, and, thanks to the foresight of the Beeb and the unbelievable talent of the show's four creators - Jeremy Dyson, Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith - the show came to television, with mind-bendingly brilliant results.
Comedy isn't really a suitable genre in which to bracket "The League of Gentlemen", since it's not as laugh-out-loud funny as, say, Ab Fab or Nighty Night. Similarly, it's just too damn funny to be labeled as Drama, but since it's got more than its fair share of horrific moments too, it's also got a finger in the pie of the Sci-Fi/Horror genre. On paper, then, "The League of Gentlemen" should, by all accounts, have been a terrible mess.
In actuality, it's the polar opposite - brilliantly crafted and thoroughly watchable, with more black comedy and more riveting characterisation than anything in recent memory. It's oddly endearing how the one-joke characters such as Herr Lipp and Barbra the transgendered taxi driver come to life with sympathetic scenarios, designed to turn these otherwise-throwaway charicatures into real, memorable parts of the story. And they're just secondary to the antics of the main body of heroes - people like Tubbs and Edward, proprietors of the Local Shop for Local People (seriously, you'll remember that line forever!), Pauline the Unemployment Retrainer, and Judee Levinson and her downtrodden maid Iris Krell - are so well-acted and so damn riveting that you'll want to see them over and over again.
This really is the only "League of Gentlemen" DVD to buy, it's got all three seasons of the show, and a whole host of truly excellent extras to mull over, once you're done with the episodes. Sound and picture quality are very, very sharp and for the price, you're getting more than your money's worth.
Thoroughly recommended.

Nighty Night - The Complete Series 1 (2004) Review

(More customer reviews)Every so often a sitcom comes along that stays with you for a very long time after you've watched it, and "Nighty Night", the BBC's most recent sitcom-to-DVD conversion, is just such a thing.
Jill Tyrell (Julia Davis, the show's writer and creator, and a fabulous comedy actress, to boot), a beautician in a nondescript Northern town, is devastated to learn that her husband Terry (Kevin Eldon) has cancer. This happens to be the first scene of the first episode, and it's the last rational reaction you'll see for the next three hours. Jill, not one to rest on her laurels, decides a new man is the order of the day, and, before Terry is even ill, much less dead, deposits him in the hospital and heads off to find a man. Enter the unlucky Don (Angus Deayton), and his multiple sclerosis-afflicted wife Cathy (Rebecca Front), as Jill's new neighbours. Deciding that he's the man for her, and blindly ignoring the fact that Terry doesn't seem to be getting any sicker, Jill goes about driving a wedge between Don and Cathy, and keeping Terry's presence a secret from all and sundry.
As with "The League of Gentlemen", "Nighty Night" is a comedy that gets laughs from its situational absurdity. The main characters, with the exception of Jill, are portrayed beautifully as normal, rational people cast headlong into an unreasonable situation, but, thanks to the machinations of the ensemble of secondary characters (such as the gloriously funny Ruth Jones as Jill's long-suffering employee and friend Linda, and the wickedly irreverent Mark Gatiss as her erstwhile paramour Glenn Bulb), they soon find themselves descending to a level of abnormality that they're clearly not comfortable with. Happily, this makes for the best viewing, and "Nighty Night" is one of the best comedies to come out of Britain in recent years.
Julia Davis as Jill is monstrously cruel, totally self-centred and completely sociopathic, but, as with all good anti-heroes, she manages to generate such sympathy for the character that we are rooting for her to win, in the end. It's a brilliant portrayal of a character, that, in the hands of a lesser actress or with less care taken over the finer points of the script, could easily have sunk into one-dimensional nastiness. Happily, Davis has created in Jill Tyrell a sitcom heroine to rival - and beat - the likes of Basil Fawlty, Patsy Stone and Vicki Pollard at their own game.
I'm not going to give anything away, so I'm going to end my review here, suffice it so say that here are three of the best and funniest hours you could ever own on DVD. Extras - outtakes and almost twenty minutes of deleted scenes - are wonderful, and the audio/video quality is, as one would expect from the BBC, top-drawer.
Wholeheartedly recommended as an essential purchase.

Breaking Bad - The Complete First Season (2008) Review

(More customer reviews)I think many, when looking at the main star of this show (Bryan Cranston) will have only really been familiar with him from Malcolm In The Middle. He played Hal, a simple Dad with simple values and an unbeatable love for his family. Who would have thought that he can take a character with the same basic love of his family and create something incredibly unique from that. In Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston plays Chemistry professor Walter White who's married with a handicap son who suffers from Cerebral Palsy and a child on the way.
One day Walter is hit with the ultimate bombshell as he finds he has inoperable lung cancer and has little time left to live. Walter realises that he can't assure his families financial security for the little time he has left being a teacher. He hears about a raid on a crystal meth lab that seizes millions of dollars worth of drugs which he decides that he must be a part of that. He knows how to make the best crystal meth ever seen, but not how to get it on the streets which is why he must enlist the help of his former student and drug pusher Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul).
I honestly didn't have high hopes for this show as, although I'm a huge fan of Bryan Cranston for his work on Malcolm In The Middle, I struggled to believe he could pull off such a train wreck of a character. The family is a typical middle class American family struggling to take care of their disabled son trying to make him have as normal a life as possible. In a way I can relate to the situation as I'm disabled myself and know how much of a strain it can be on parents. Sure, it's not the same disability, but the family struggling through it is definitely displayed well and R.J. Mitte as Walter Jr. is an excellent fit. Although I'm betting he was only cast because he too has Cerebral Palsy, he still fits the bill and plays the character brilliantly.
Fantastic, fantastic show. I don't want to tell you much about the seasons events as it is quite short and risks spoiling certain events. I have to tell you that there are times in which this show doesn't hold back. It has no qualms about showing you the brutality of a broken man fighting against his own sense of morality, joining the drug world and even dealing with the fact that he killed a guy. Oh and obviously he's dying and is reminded of that from time to time but it's certainly gelled together brilliantly.
Just to wrap it up I can only really say this TV show is amazing in every way and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Bryan Cranston is a very underrated actor, but he's determined to prove himself for which he does a terrific job. When this DVD set comes out in the UK I'll certainly be one of the first to buy it.

Dirt: The Complete First Season (2007) Review

(More customer reviews)Do people realize how bitingly smart this show is? I don't think they do, judging by the disparaging comments on how gratuitous, lurid, and tasteless the show is. Guess what? It's a show about sensationalist TABLOIDISM. And the show IS funny: all sharp, bleeding wit--and Lucy Spiller's first instinct is to tear into the first hint of blood in the water.
But what's more amazing is to watch Courtney Cox as the Devil working the room, spinning her wheels and making deals, and then seeing her as the minions and pawns fade away and she's left alone, doubting. Human.
I think that's what this show at its core is about--showing what's human behind the celeb, the humanity behind the monstrous tabloid business, all that seems to be only plastic and spit-shined glamor, deceit and manipulation. The heart of the show lies in Lucy and Don's genuine friendship. Don truly is the "heart and voice" of the show, because it's through him that the show (daringly, honestly, unflinchingly) questions its actions: Why the hell is everyone acting so horribly to each other?
The answer: Because you want them to.
Dirt makes a statement and makes it profoundly--and not by beating you in the head with a soapbox. The show opens up into the hyper-real world that crystallizes the concept of What People Want, this current market of consumers' crushing need for entertainment that deals exclusively in sex, shame, blood, violence, and betrayal: "Who's the fugliest?" "Who's the sluttiest"? "When is that good-girl celeb going to give us a REAL show?" The weekly tabloids, but more than that--this obsession that controls every single aspect of media...and what gives Lucy Spiller, editor of one such "rag" such as Dirt so much *power* in the industry.
Do you hate what you see on-screen when you watch Dirt? Look around. If there's a magazine featuring TomKat's tortured wedded life on your desk, in your hands, hell--if you even know what I'm talking about--you're a part of it. Is there anyone who *isn't*?
This show explores all that. Again, daringly, unflinchingly--and beautifully, with heart. At no point does the show fail to realize just how horrible and desipicable and circus-like this preoccupation is, and I loved just how self-*aware* but not self-*conscious* this show was. It was just so elegantly put together and filled with an idealistic spirit--as unlikely as that may sound to some.
You can't watch Dirt thinking it's just "trashy fun." You won't get it. You won't get nearly what it's worth out of it.
But if you THINK while watching the beautiful art direction, acting, music, setting, plot, character development--it's definitely worth it. And above all, Dirt is honestly engaging and FUN to watch. And PRETTY. Don't let my long-winded review stop you from just enjoying it!

Whether they're unleashing swarms of murderous kitties on an unsuspecting populous, summoning giant trolls to ravage the countryside, trying their hand at stand-up comedy (death metal style), or destroying hippies with the combined darkness of thrash and the blues Dethklok always finds a way to keep the mayhem coming.
Featuring the world's fastest guitarist, a bassist who can pull off a wicked solo playing with his johnson, an alcoholic drummer who used to front a bad 80's metal band, an amusingly naive childish rhythm guitarist, and a singer who talks in his growling metal voice all the time and is obsessed with all things brutal, the show is never short of hilarious characters to abuse and the laughs just do not stop. And I haven't even mentioned Dr. Rockso, the rock 'n roll clown who uses his high Axl Rose-ish voice to screech his catch phrase, "I DO COCAINE!!!" at anyone who will listen.
The music is fantastically metal with plenty of double-bass drums, shredding guitar, and nearly incoherent ranting (the subtitles help lots) that will make you bang your head and laugh at the same time. The episodes are short, to the point, and packed with satire, heavy metal references (a fast food place named Dimmu Burger, anyone?), and shear insanity. My personal favorite episode involves bassist William Murderface looking for religion after a near-death experience. The band takes him to a lame christian rock show where several concert-goers and band members wind up dying grisly deaths after a Dethklok member tries to join the fun by starting a mosh pit. Later, they give devil worshipping a try in what has to be one of the funniest animated scenes (and possibly most true to life) I've ever watched. Best satanic quote ever: "Pick up after yourselves; this is a Church of Satan, not a wastepaper basket."
If you don't see a special features menu when you fire up your DVD's, don't freak out. The bizarre assortment of features are hidden within the menu and can be found by moving the cursor to highlight different parts of the logo or band members' faces. There is a tour of Dethklok's compound, Mordhaus, a series of amusing band interviews, a slightly extended Murderface bass solo, a montage featuring the series' more violent moments, and even a little porn. Then there's the 20 minutes of frontman Nathan Explosion reading Shakespeare; if you can sit through that, you are a bigger fan than I. My only complaint is that -while the special features are freeballing it- the show itself remains censored. Sure, the cool guitar noises beat the hell out of the bleeps other shows use, but they should be optional. Still it's a minor complaint about an awesome set.
So if you're a metalhead with a sense of humor or are looking for some truly twisted, violent, and laugh-out-loud funny animated entertainment to NOT share with your children then "Metalocalypse" is as good as it gets. And with each episode clocking in at a little over 10 minutes, it's a fantastic way to catch some quick laughs and hear some headbanging good music on the run. "Now go forth and DIIIIIEEEE!!!!"

(More customer reviews)Well, this DVD banks on Katt Williams... but it's 20 minutes of his old material, presented much better in "The Pimp Chronicles" release. Katt even mentions "It's 2004" and Sam Tripoli's cracking Kobe Bryant jokes to put a date on things. It would have been much better to try and get this released earlier, but now it's just a cash-in attempt. The best part of this DVD was Aries Spears, he was amazing if you'd never seen him outside of Mad TV.
Anyway, a 2004 show released on DVD in 2008? As a variety show, it works but pass if you're watching for Katt Williams and seen any of his DVDs already.

One Foot in the Grave: The Complete Series (2009) Review

(More customer reviews)One Foot In the Grave is one of the most cleverly written and funniest sitcoms you are ever likely to see. The main character Victor Meldrew is an iconic figure in British comedy. While on the surface he seems to be just a grouchy old man he is in fact a very deep thinker who tries his best to do what is right in a world he doesn't generally agree with. Sometimes things go his way but usually the result is disaster. The supporting cast are all brilliant, his neighbors Patrick and Pippa are forever catching him in awkward situations and are convinced he is insane. His feud with Patrick is one of the most hilarious parts of this show.
I don't personally know anyone else who is familiar with this show, I don't think it has ever been shown on PBS in my area although I know it has been show in other parts of the country at some point. One Foot is a show which I believe deserves a huge cult following here in the US if it were just more well known. In a way you could compare it a bit to Seinfeld in that there are usually several storylines in an episode that converge in the end, again usually adding up to disaster for Victor.
There are so many zany, surreal moments in this show that I couldn't start to list them here. My advice is just buy it and see for yourself. If you appreciate British humor you will in no way be disappointed. I might add that the theme song is written and performed by the legendary Eric Idle of Monty Python fame, he also guest stars in one episode.
One word of advice, if you own a multi-region dvd player try amazon.co.uk for the region two version of the box set as it is much, much cheaper than the region one version, this is true of almost all BBC dvds as well.

The grim reaper finally gets to Victor Meldrew. He may not arrive in the form of a strangely-shaped unordered parcel, as a workman with the intellect of an orangutan, or even as Meldrew-fixated ex-neighbor Patrick, but he better be prepared to listen: Victor might have a few complaints to make!

Sordid Lives (2001) Review

AT last, it's been released on DVD and it's worth the wait.Seeing it again, I laughed even more than the first time - the characters get under your skin with their bizarre antics and the direction is truly clever, juxtaposing a running plotline about a white-trash funeral and the surreal characters who come together as a result. Special kudos to Bonnie Bedelia, who is shrill but ultimately a real character. And Leslie Jordan as a drag-queen in a mental institution channeling Tammy Wynette is flat out HYSTERICAL.
The DVD has some standard extras - deleted scenes, extra songs, a new opening, and commentary from stars and the director. I promise you - this is a movie you will share with your friends and laugh laugh laugh! Sure, it can be corny and superficial at times, but lemme tell ya...the characters are never less than 3-dimensionsal.
This is a sharp, witty, humane movie with a terrific ensemble cast that deserves attention. An intertwined collection of small town stories about faith, love and redemption, "Sordid Lives" has more laughs in its first 15 minutes than most comedies enjoy in two hours. The performances are uniformly file, including Bonnie Bedelia, Delta Burke, Olivia Newton-John (a sweet and pleasant surprise), Leslie Jordan, and Beau Bridges. There are moments of sheer bliss as a town prepares to bury one of its own against a backdrop of angst, humor and real drama. Even the hysterical parts are handled with great sentiment and care. The audience I saw the movie with was cackling with laughter! A terrific film!

The hilariously sordid details about a southern family surface with a vengeance when relatives converge for the funeral of "Grandma Peggy," who died after tripping over her lover's wooden legs! Toss in a couple of feuding, big-haired daughters, a jumpy aunt who just quit smoking, the scorned neighbor from hell, and crazy, cross-dressing "Brother Boy" - and you've got an outrageous "train wreck you can't help but watch!" College Hill - Virgin Islands (2004) Review

(More customer reviews)In BET's answer to MTV's Real World, College Hill features eight college students living together in a "tricked-out" apartment. In this 2-disc fourth installment of the popular reality show, four students from California and four from the Virgin Islands come together in St. Thomas for two and a half months of drama, sexual tension, and ever-so-briefly, school work.
The tensions between the eight students (four girls and four guys) escalate quickly as cliques begin to form among the Islanders and the Californians. Constantly bickering about segregation and the differences between the two cultures, hardly a minute goes by in all 15 episodes when some sort of beef isn't mentioned. Finally, in episode eight, it all comes to a head as a fight erupts between two of the girls that ends with one of them being asked to leave the house and move into a dorm on campus, away from the rest of the cast members. This painfully memorable scene is a three to four minute clip of eight belligerent young people screaming at each other until one girl takes a shoe to another one's face, leaving her bloodied and in the hospital.
What's strangely contradictory is the large role that religion apparently plays in these student's lives. As they're at each other's throats, with the diva-like Crystal from Orange County at first turning the house against her, and then working to get it back, Willie trying to work his "game" on each girl in the house, and JT constantly feeling "tempted" by Idesha to cheat on his girlfriend of three years (that temptation ends quickly along with his relationship), somehow they still find time to gather around the kitchen table one night and "testify". Watching these eight twenty somethings dwell on trivial matters, play sexual drinking games, and worry about what their HIV test results will yield is bad enough without having to listen to them talk about their close relationships with God.
Unsurprisingly, College Hill - Virgin Islands, like the majority of similar reality shows is disturbingly addictive. Once you become familiar with the characters and their misguided struggles, it's hard to turn away without knowing what happens next. Whether the kids are headed out to another club in St. Thomas, on a trip to Miami for the weekend, or just heading to anger management classes, drama is sure to follow. Ultimately, College Hill - Virgin Islands helps to serve as a lesson to viewers on how not to behave. If the participants in the show have really learned as much as they claim by the end, then perhaps witnessing the lows of their experiences might just be worth it.
If viewers are looking for one of the most intensely argumentative and explosive casts ever seen on a reality show, College Hill - Virgin Islands serves up this kind of entertainment in triple scoops. Like some kind of non-eliminative Survivor, these students are constantly forming alliances with each other, only to have them fall apart at the drop of a hat... or the stealing of a makeup case. If nothing else, watching deluded people justify themselves and their actions with Bible verses and blind screaming fights can be embarrassingly enjoyable in the same way that watching Jerry Springer segments can. But anyone looking for legitimate non-exploitative entertainment that allows them to watch and retain their dignity should stay away.
The DVD set also includes a bonus episode, a making of documentary, and some footage considered "too hot" for BET. Most of the extras are skippable, but the show itself is addictive junk food for the brain.
