Junction Boys (2002) Review

Junction Boys (2002)
Average Reviews:

I first watched this movie while working as a Behavioral Health worker with borderline criminial Adolecents age 12-17. A fellow co-worker brought the film in as a suprise "treat movie" for the kids.
In all my years (there have been many) I have never seen a reaction to a film from this population in all my life. The story of the team and Mr. Bryant and how it wa portrayed in this film made the kids begin to think of their own lives , and how they could do better for people.
It was a strange reaction to this film, but it truly moved them and myself.
As far as the film itself goes Berringer is great as is the support cast and the studio did an excellent job. I have heard the book is even better.

we bought them, and now am buying the box set as a gift. I saw "Left Behind" a few years ago, and while the movie obviously did not have the benefit of a large budget like so many Hollywood movies, the cast was good and the message was clear. It's a very powerful movie, and one that I have heard so many people rave about. Obviously, people liked it, and bought it, because you can tell with each movie in the series that their budget is bigger. After I saw the second movie in the set, I thought it was my favorite - until I saw the third. They each just leave you wanting to see more - just like they should. Definitely try it out.

St Patrick: Irish Legend (2000) Review

St Patrick: Irish Legend (2000)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This made for television movie is entertaining, inspiring, and educational. St. Patrick is one of the most well know, yet least "known about" significant personalities in world history. God used Patrick to transform Ireland and Ireland's influence helped shape the world. The story starts with Patrick as a reckless youth, captured by slave traders. In slavery to a Irish Warlord he has a Divine encounter that grows into a holy passion for God. He is miraculously delivered from Ireland and returns to his family. Back in his British homeland He hears the call of God to return as a missionary to Israel. Despite numerous obstacles, he refuses to let go of the heavenly vision and soon returns to Irish soil as the Bishop of Ireland. Through power encounters with the druid priests and a servants heart of love for the Irish people, Patrick becomes the catalyst for a spiritual awakening. Patrick Bergen's portrayal of St. Patrick is convincing and compelling. Malcolm McDowell ideally personifies the religious hierarchical antagonists who oppose Patrick. The special effects leave something to be desired but they do not take away from the powerful and moving story of St. Patrick. I highly recommend this movie to all those looking for inspiring family entertainment.

WWE: Breaking Point 2009 (2009) Review

WWE: Breaking Point 2009 (2009)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Once again, thanks to WWE Classics On Demand, I was able to see WWE's new concept PPV that replaced the annual Unforgiven card with this event being named Breaking Point in which all of the main event matches need to end by someone submitting.
Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show vs M.V.P. & Mark Henry. As I have mentioned before, I am not really big on the whole "Jeri-Show" tag team while I can care less about the M.V.P./Henry duo. Although, I am happy to say that this was a good opener that the crowd actually got into with the action getting better when Jericho took on M.V.P. while the action slowed when Show was working with Henry.
United States Champion Kofi Kingston vs The Miz. This was one of those matches that was better than what it looked on paper as the action was getting better as time went on with both men doing counter after counter to the point that the crowd made no noise at the start but slowly got into the action. Definitely the "sleeper" match of the night & both men's best match up to this point.
Submissions Count Anywhere: D-Generation X vs Legacy. Before the match, there was some comedy as the crowd quickly cheered but then turned in the "You Screwed Bret" chants towards Shawn Michaels (they are in Montreal) with Triple H pulling off the quick one-liner that had everyone laughing. Anyways, this was a brawl that went all over the building with moments of both teams using innovative submission attempts like the camel clutch & boston crab on a folded chair by DX, Cody doing the Gory Guerrero special, the double figure four in the aisle way before Legacy was able to take out Triple H & dominate HBK in the ring including the finishing move of the figure four around the ringpost combined with the million dollar dream. This was my favorite match of the night as Legacy got the biggest win in their young careers while both teams still left the match strong.
Singapore Cane Match: Kane vs The Great Khali. Honestly, I just fast-forward this match since these two just don't work well together & who ever made this feud needs to get shot.
ECW Champion Christian vs William Regal. Now, this was the match that we should have gotten at SummerSlam as this was a great mat-based wrestling match with Regal actually being able to control the action at times including using some of his stiff offense including one knee to the face to Christian that it had everyone in the arena turn their heads. We all know the type of performance Christian can deliver & just like the previous title match, the crowd got into the action as time went on as this was again, another great match.
I-Quit Match: WWE Champion Randy Orton vs John Cena. If you can get pass the whole predictable finish (I honestly saw it coming from a mile away) including the quick STF finish, this match told a good story of how Orton was just punishing Cena throughout the match to the point where his offense was calculating just to make Cena suffer with one moment to point out being Cena being handcuffed to the ringpost, only to be beaten with a singapore cane. Again, a good story told but this was no where near their SummerSlam clash from the month prior.
Submission Match: World Champion CM Punk vs The Undertaker. This was a real disappointment as this match ended just when it was starting to pick up and become really good. Both men worked well together in the short time that they had but this was all about setting up another "Screwjob" in Montreal as Taker won the match originally but then had the decision reverse that lead to Theodore Long & the referee pulling off something that we have seen before. A bad way to end the night as I actually enjoyed their Hell In A Cell match a month later more than this.
Overall, this event had three matches worth checking out in DX/Legacy, Kofi/Miz & Christian/Regal while the rest was either watchable or just bad so hopefully this was the first & only time WWE will use this concept because it really did hurt the event more than helped.

I am a real Roman Empire History buff and was jazzed at the idea of a new video documentary on the topic. There are two discs. The first includes the Julius Caesar bio and the story of Antony and Cleopatra. They aren't bad despite the fact the latter is given a bit of "hollywood treatment". I guess it's the History Channel getting ready for prime time. It's the second disk I have a problem with. It uses the programs from the Discovery Channel Documentary distributed by Questar Video afew years ago. That's four of the six programs in the set. So if you own the Questar set, like I do, you already have these programs. The History Channel set gives no indication of the prior packaging under Questar. That's a bit deceptive in my opinion. Be warned!!

STING: THE MOMENT OF TRUTH (2004)
directed by George King
approximately 1 hour 25 minutes
This is the biographical DVD of pro-wrestler Steve Borden, best known to the world as "Sting". It deals with the difficulties of being a wrestling superstar and is made from an overtly religious angle.
The story starts with young (blonde) Steve in Southern California hitting the gym and bulking up. He accepts an offer to join a group of bodybuilders who are trying to break into the wrestling biz. Whittled out of this group is a tag team consisting of Steve Borden and Jim Hellwig, who later became famous as the Ultimate Warrior. The team starts out in Mid-South Wrestling before splitting up and Steve takes on the Sting persona in his solo career. While still struggling to get by, Steve marries a girl named Sue who stands by him. The Sting character becomes a huge success but with the success comes temptation and responsibility. One scene features heavy-handed symbolism showing Borden stumbling through an alley, with loose women, an alcoholic and a man throwing money all chasing after the superstar. Steve struggles to keep his marriage together and slowly becomes more spiritual by praying and attending Christian gatherings.
The structuring of the movie is weird. For example when Steve first starts telling his story, he is talking to a newspaper reporter. When that interview ends, he continues telling the story. Then later on he is interviewed for the second time by a fanboy internet writer (probably the funniest scene in the movie). This interview is brief and again Sting continues to talk about the story after it is over. Also there are a lot of vingettes that go on for a long time. One that comes to mind is early on where we see memories of good ol sunny California and get the montage of beach bums and people riding their bikes on Venice Beach. Not a bad scene, but I felt like I was watching video from the Southern California Board of Tourism.
Another thing (which I admit is pretty nerdy of me to complain about) is that the wrestling clips are shown in an order that makes no sense. One of the first WCW clips shown is from like 1999 or 2000, later on a clip from 1997 is shown etc. A TNA clip is even shown between some of the WCW clips! There's a different scene where Steve is on the phone with his wife discussing a match he fought in earlier in the night. Wrestling fans will recognize this as Bash at the Beach 96, one of the most famous events in the history of WCW. This segment comes after a scene where Sting is being trained to drop from the rafters which didn't take place until the nWo storyline had taken off. If you aren't a wrestling fan then this stuff probably doesn't make a difference to you, but this DVD is targeted at a wrestling audience.
The real focus here is on Steve Borden's spiritual redemption and non-Christians may not enjoy the DVD for this reason. There are some parts which may be of interest to the more secular wrestling fans, such as the direct questions about Starrcade 97 and the "nWo Wolfpack", which Steve describes as "the beginning of the end for WCW". I do wish that somebody had asked whether Borden ever considered signing with the McMahons though.

Although this DVD is from a Christmas program on PBS the majority of songs here are good old traditional southern gospel. The entire show is terriffic but if you want around 45 minutes of non stop goose bumps and high energy from guys old enough to be your grandparents or great grandparents skip directly to their stunning version of Amazing Grace and hold on tight to the very end of the show. Lead singer Jimmy Carter (no not that Jimmy Carter thank goodness) is one of the most charismatic performers in the history of show business. When he is led into the audience while performing Look Where He Brought Me From he brings the house down or more appropriately way way up again and again. I only paid $2.50 for the DVD but in the short time I have had I have gotten $1,000 worth of enjoyment from it

This movie surprized me being it was on a DVD by Good Times...usually they are not that clear and sometimes hard to understand but this is a shining example of how well they can do if they want...this DVD was super clear and the audio was super too. The only thing I wish is that for us harder of hearing folks that they would put the CC on the disc too.The movie it self is very good and I enjoyed the show alot. The acting was good and the story line was also very interesting as well. The animal actors did such a great job and as I said before the clarity of the DVD makes the scenery come alive in Alaska. I am glad I picked this one up and if you have kids there is also some good messages on convervation in it. I would buy it again now if I knew what I know now. At this price you owe it to yourself to pick up this disc, why not get extra copies for gifts too...LOL I hope "Gentle Ben" which I also purchased is just as good..well done Good Times...

This was one of the better and best ways to close out wwe ppv's of a dissapointing year of 2009. Thanks for reading!
Ladder match for the ECW championship
Christian vs. Shelton Benjamin
This was a very good match and a great way to start off a very extreme night. This was fast paced, very brutal, and had some great moments that could have stole the show. This match had moments like benjamin getting on the top of a ladder and then doing the wrestlemania 25 flip onto christian and almost breaking his back, and a huge frogsplash onto benjamin from the top rope and right through a ladder. This match is very entertaining and is a edge of your seat match with tons of joey styles OH MY GOD!!! Moments.
4.5/5
Intercontinental championship
John Morrison vs. Drew McIntyre
This match is also another good match on this card. This match had some fast paced moments with one of the most botched moves i have ever seen. These two had a pretty good rivalry going and put on a good match. I didn't like that Drew won, but, it was a perfect opportunity for McIntire to get the win after morrison missed a starship pain.
3.5/5
Womens championship
Mickie James vs. Michelle McCool
What a boring match. I hated this match the entire time. This was very boring and like all other diva matches, slow. This match was a filler and not watchable.
1/5
Tables match for the WWE championship
John Cena vs. Sheamus
Wow. I had no idea that this match would be good. These two put on a great match with a great buildup to go along. The ending is very dissapointing and very sad because sheamus wins with cena falling from the second rope and going through a table. I liked the brutality and how the match was back and forth the entire match. This match had some good weapon use and is very enjoyable and has tons of action.
4.5/5
Chairs match for the WWE championship
Undertaker vs. Batista
This isn't a very good match either. These two have had many great matches when they had rivalrys, but this was the worst encounter between these two. I didn't like that batista won with a cheap lowblow, and that the match got restarted, and undertaker getting a quick win. This match was very short, unlike their other matches. This match is watchable, but not worth watching.
3.5/5
Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston
This is their best encounter yet. These two put on a great match, but was a little short. I like the action and some great moments in this match like orton getting a dropkick on the outside in midair, the punt to the arm, and a missed trouble in paradise leading to a huge RKO. I really like this match and thought it was a great way to lead up to the main event and the best match on the card.
4/5
Tables, Ladders, and Chairs for the Unified Tag-Team championships
DX vs. JeriShow
This match definatly deserved to be the main event. This match had tons of chair and ladder use and is very brutal. I liked that this match pretty much started on the entrance way very early in the match. This match was a finisher fest, everybody got their finishers on each other. Some great moments like triple h and shawn being cokeslammed together through a table, big show getting jericho on his sholders while trying to get the belts, two sweet chin musics in a row, big show breaking a ladder in half, and DX winning their first tag titles. This match is fast paced and fifty/fifty and very enjoyable.
5/5
This ppv was a great way to end 2009 and had a lot of very good and surprisingly good matches. I recomend this ppv to your wwe collection.

The Christmas Choir (2008) Review

The Christmas Choir (2008)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a good movie. It isn't just a mindless romance of a single parent at Christmastime--as so many Christmas movies are. There is a romance involved, it just isn't the whole story.
Peter is a workaholic accountant who has just been dumped by his fiancee. He meets a piano player in a bar who can sense he is down and invites him to "come home" with him. "Home" turns out to be a homeless shelter run by an outspoken nun who is trying to quit smoking. He spends the evening there, makes a donation and leaves, never expecting to return. But after seeing one of the homeless men the next day being pushed along for loitering, he returns to the shelter and helps serve dinner, much to Sister Agatha's surprise. But he wants to do more. On the way home he sees a group of carolers on the street receiving donations. He has an idea and returns immediately to the shelter to discuss it with Sister Agatha. He wants to form a choir as a way for the men to earn some money for Christmas, but there are obstacles along the way. He has to face Sister Agatha's doubts, the men's mistrust of his motives, their lack of training and discipline, his rocky relationship with his father and his own deteriorated personal life.
At first he sees himself as the one doing great things to help these men, but finally comes to see how much they have done to turn his life around. It is an uplifting movie that teaches a good lesson without heavy-handed preaching.
The romance is a gentle thread developing throughout the story. It is never suggestive or inappropriate.
Amazingly, this movie of a rougher side of life has no rough language. I think the term "brain-fart" is as bad as it gets, and we hear that only once. Alcohol abuse is dealt with as one choir member shows up to a performance drunk, violating the "cardinal rule". Peter is very angry, words are exchanged and he quits and walks out on the choir. He ends up drunk himself, which is ironic since in an earlier scene he had expressed his frustration with his own father's alcoholism. I can't think of anything else that might be objectionable to anyone. Things look bleak for a time, but are resolved nicely with an upbeat ending.
It is "based on" a true story, but take it with a grain of salt. The fine print at the end of the credits indicates that they have fictionalized events for dramatic effect. Still, I think it is a very good Christmas movie that isn't just light fluff--it actually has some meat to it. I would definitely recommend it. The whole family can watch it, though younger children may not grasp the message.

Based on a true story, The Christmas Choir is the inspiring account of how one man can make a remarkable difference simply by giving of himself. Workaholic accountant Peter Andrews (Jason Gedrick) has overlooked Christmas, friends and even his fiancé for far too long. As a result, his life begins to fall apart. But a chance encounter with a homeless man named Bob (Tyrone Benskin) changes everything and inspires Peter to start a choir that eventually goes on to enormous success. With the help of the unconventional Sister Agatha (Rhea Perlman) and his newfound friends at the shelter, Peter learns that Christmas is not a season but a state of mind and that everyone deserves a second chance at life and love.

WWE: Summerslam 2009 (2009)

This was a very strong ppv effort from WWE. Most of the matches were very good including an excellent main event with a good aftermath that sent the fans home happy. Yes, I'm talking about the return of the Undertaker. For a show that was hyped up extremely poorly by WWE, it definately delivered far better than expected. The wwe title match was bizarre, but I give them credit for trying something different. This is a dvd that I definately recommend adding tom your collection, it's worth the price. Matches are rated out of 5 stars (*****).
1. Intercontinental Title Match
Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler
This was actually a hell of an opening match. Crowd was very into it by the end, and they had lots of near falls. Ziggler even had some very audible chants from the crowd in his favor. Rey wins by reversing a gutbuster off the top rope into a huracanrana, but the match was so well worked that this loss didn't hurt Ziggler. ***3/4
2. MVP vs. Jack Swagger
Decent match, but it was too short to really get going. They cut a promo before the match billing this as the spoiled jock vs. the ex-con tough guy. Somewhat of a surprising finish having MVP go over, but in the end it doesn't really matter. This came off like filler on TV. **
3. WWE Tag Team Championship Match
Chris Jericho & Big Show (c) vs. Cryme Tyme
Pretty good match. It took a little bit to get going but people started to get into it by the end. The finish came a little abruptly for my taste, and it really didn't do much to elevate Cryme Tyme, but there wasn't a whole lot to complaign about. Worth a look. **1/2
4. Kane vs. The Great Khali
This was foul. A poor, poor match to say the least, which is exactly what most sane individuals were expecting. It wasn't Sharmell vs. Jenna from TNA Victory Road, but there was absolutely nothing of merit in this match. It wasn't even good filler. -*
5. Shawn Michaels & Triple H vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase
Very good, long match. Crowd was very into DX. DX got the win in the end, but they did a good job of elevating Legacy and making them look like credible oponents. Plus, it's always great to see HBK in the ring again. All around I thought this was a definate thumbs up, and everyone worked hard. ***1/2
6. ECW Championship
Christian (c) vs. William Regal
Match lasted less than 10 seconds. The bell rang, Regal turned around to take his robe off, and Christian hit the Killswitch for the three. After the match, Zeke Jackson and Kozlov beat down Christian. They were probably short on time, but couldn't they have cut Kane and Khali instead of gypping the fans on what could have been a pretty good match? Nothing to see here. (NR)
7. WWE Championship
Randy Orton (c) vs. John Cena
This was a strange one to say the least. Match was good until the finish, when Orton shoved the ref and intentionally got DQ'd. Lillian Garcia, in an epic moment, said the winner and new WWE champion is Randy Orton. Then she said Vince McMahon ordered the match to restart, under a new set of rules claiming Orton would lose the belt if DQ'd again. Orton quickly got himself counted out and again the match was ordered to restart, this time stating that if Orton was DQ'd or counted out the belt would change hands. Orton then pinned cena using the ropes, and another ref came down and got the match restarted again. Cena finally got the upper hand and had Orton in the STF, and right when it seemed Randy would tap a "fan" ran in the ring and broke it up. Once the confusion died down, Orton hit the RKO for the pin. Basically, Cena looked like a fool 4 times. Anyway, I give them credit for trying something different, because they've fueded so much in the past, but this was one of those finishes that you either liked or hated. ***
8. World Heavyweight Championship TLC Match
Jeff Hardy (c) vs. CM Punk
Tremendous main event. They didn't have quite as many spots as you might expect, but their timing was superb and everything they did looked good. The last spot in particular, which I won't spoil but involved a big ladder and an announce table, was phenominal. Punk gets the clean win and the title in a great match. After the bout, Undertaker returned to a huge pop and chokeslammed CM Punk, so at least the crowd got a happy ending. ****1/4
This was a very enjoyable ppv. The wrestling was of a very good quality overall, and I don't think anyone who sees this show would feel slighted of their money's worth. It's worth having in your collection and would be nice to go back and watch from time to time, and it seems like it's been a while since I said that about a WWE ppv.

Watching Saint Nicholas, one can only note how much better it is than most of the recent holiday specials, which try to have a moral to the story, but end up flat and heavy-handed. VeggieTales, on the other hand, go far beyond morals to express big ideas. The recent VeggieTales movie, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A Veggie Tales Movie (Widescreen), was the sort of superior entertainment that, while it enthralls kids, also engages adults. It's hard to believe this featurette is only 45 minutes, because it runs the gamut from light laughs to moving pathos to profound finale, the same arc as a feature film. Adults who happen to walk by while it's on TV will probably find themselves drawn in. Kids will see something new every time.
Bob the tomato tells the true story of St. Nicholas, while Larry the cuke constantly interrupts with more conventional ideas of Santa Claus. The real saint threw bags of money down the chimneys of poor women to save them from being forced into brothels. In this kid-friendly version, young Nick saves the poor from going to jail. Either way, he becomes the patron saint of those who fight human trafficking. The DVD includes ways for kids and families to help a long-established charity called Samaritan's Purse, and a catchy video by Matthew West and Amy Grant, "Give This Christmas Away."
There's an intense scene when the young Nick's parents die, which might be disturbing for very young kids, like similar scenes in Disney films like Bambi. The film is filled with witty asides and references to holiday trivia and packed with well-performed, singable songs. There's even a pirate who makes an appearance from the recent feature film. Bonus features include "Sing Along with Larry", an art gallery, and "Give This Christmas Away" music video. The previews include trailers for current VeggieTales, as well as bits on Cure International, which provides medical help for kids in need, and MOPS, a support group for Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers.
VeggieTales are inspiring on many levels: CGI animation that is second to none, garden-fresh story lines, sparkling wit to laugh-out-loud humor, a rough ride to the happy ending denouement, and they make you feel better, not worse. But this DVD, linking, as it does, an entertaining story to tangible ways to help, may be the biggest idea yet for bringing joy to the world.

The Perfect Stranger (2005) Review

The Perfect Stranger (2005)

The plot is simple. A lawyer named Nikki played by Pamela Brumley gets a dinner invitation on the night her husband is going to a ball game with his friends. She believes that the invitation is really from her husband who feels bad about leaving her alone on a Friday night, so she accepts. When she arrives at the resteraunt she finds instead someone she has never seen before, a man, well dressed, who claims to be Jesus Christ. At first she thinks it's a joke and wants to leave, but hey, why give up a free meal? She goes along with his story that he is Jesus Christ and proceeds to ask him questions about everything she can think of from various religions to the creation of the universe. What follows is one of the most interesting conversations put on film.
Let me state that I am not a born again Christian, but when I first saw this film I was glued to the TV, it is a film that makes you think. It is a film that is entertaining, it is a film that is as interesting to those of you who are not religious as to those of you who are.
I dispute the running time of the movie as listed here. The film times in at about 1 hour and 8 minutes in length. The closing credits include interviews with the stars of the film and the director and clock in at about 17 minutes. For a film that is a little over an hour the price is not bad. There are extra's on the DVD, behind the scenes ect.
If you are still not sure if you should see this keep in mind that it is a little over an hour long. Chances are you've wasted your time being dissapointed with films clocking in at over 2 hours before. The choice is always yours, if you don't like it- return it. Or better yet, because of the price, give it to a friend. I'm sure you know someone out there who would want to see this.

Veggie Tales: Pistachio (2009) Review

Veggie Tales: Pistachio (2009)

One of the best Veggie Tales ever! The animation was top-notch, the humor was better then usual (I laughed out-loud many times) and the lesson was excellent for children. The importants of listening to wise parents and in this case a father in a child's life. The retelling of Pinocchio was a great storyline for the Big Idea group and they didn't disappoint with a very clever rendition. I liked how they skirted around the whole fairy thing with Madame Blueberry. Very cute. Kahlil (the caterpillar named Cricket) steals the show with his humor and loyalty. The Silly Songs With Larry was a good one with the Office Supply song done as a obscure Broadway musical. Qwerty gets an upgrade but Bob still rolls his eyes.
My four year old loved the entire DVD. I highly recommend it too.

Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail (Widescreen Edition) (2009) Review

Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail (Widescreen Edition) (2009)

"Tyler Perry's Madea Goes To Jail" is great! This is how the story goes: After a high-speed freeway chase puts Madea in front of the judge, her reprieve is short-lived as anger management issues get the best of her and land her in jail. A gleeful Joe couldn't be happier at Madea's misfortune. But Madea's eccentric family members the Browns rally behind her, lending their special "country" brand of support. Meanwhile, Assistant District Attorney Joshua Hardaway is on the fast track to career success. But Hardaway lands a case too personal to handle - defending young prostitute and former drug addict Candace Washington - and asks his fiancee and fellow ADA Linda Holmes to fill in on his behalf. When Candace ends up in jail, Madea befriends the young woman, protecting her in a "motherly" way as only Madea can.
The cast led by Tyler Perry (back in his roles as Madea / Brian / Joe), Derek Luke (as Joshua Hardaway), & Keshia Knight Pulliam (as Candace Washington) is great! The directing and story and screenplay by Perry (who also produced) (who also produced and directed and wrote the stories and screenplays to "Madea's Family Reunion" (2006, also starred as Madea / Brian / Joe), "Daddy's Little Girls" (2007), "Why Did I Get Married?" (2007, also starred as Terry), "Meet The Browns" (2008, also starred as Madea / Joe) & "The Family That Preys" (2008, also starred as Ben), he also wrote and produced "Diary Of A Mad Black Woman" (2005, also starred as Madea / Brian / Joe) is great!
The music by Aaron Zigman (who also did the music to Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?", "Meet The Browns", & "The Family That Preys" is great! The cinematography by Alexander Gruszynski (who also did the cinematography to "This Christmas" (2007) is great! The film editing by Maysie Hoy (who has been doing the casting to Perry's films since "Daddy's Little Girls") is great! The production design by Ina Mayhew (who has been doing the production design on Perry's films since "Diary Of A Mad Black Woman") is great! The casting by Kim Hardin (who also did the casting to "This Christmas") is great! The art direction by Mark Erbaugh (who also did the art direction to "The Family That Preys") is great! The costume design by Keith G. Lewis (who has been doing the costume design to Perry's films since "Diary Of A Mad Black Woman") is great!
This is an great comedy that is funny and heartwarming at times. This is another hit from Tyler Perry. Madea's back and funnier than ever.
