Haunted History - Haunted Histories Collection (Hauntings / Vampire Secrets / Salem Witch Trails / The Haunted History of Halloween / Poltergeist) (History Channel) (2006) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I love when the History Channel begins airing its stable of paranormal shows heavily around Halloween. This is a great bargain for five DVDs. "Vampire Secrets" is the excellent 2-hour program from 2006 (100 minutes), while the other four are hour long shows (50 minutes). This is worth it just for "Vampire Secrets" and "The Haunted History of Halloween." Either one of these two DVDs purchased separately cost as much as this entire set. The others in this series are quite good too...they include slightly older shows from the mid 90's about poltergeists, hauntings, etc. Some of which I don't remember seeing before. For the price, it is well worth it!

Unsolved Mysteries: Ghosts 1 (2004) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This set is the same as the previous release of Ghost but just two dvds instead of four. Why? The people at Unsolved Mysteries should get there head out of there butts and released Best of Ghost Volume 2. They have plenty of material with over 16 seasons on tv, it'd be easy to make at more ghost story dvds. I enjoyed the original set but it wasn't scary as they claimed.

Paranormal Destinations (2007) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am always leary of purchasing my "paranormal" DVDs becuase I when I receive it, it usually turns out to be a bunch of made-for-tv programs that I've seen and/or ordered before--they just CHANGED THE NAME OF THE DVD. (which really ticks me off--who do they think they're fooling?) But this DVD was awesome and I have NONE of these segements on other "paranormal" DVDs--although (this being from Travel Channel) I do vaguely remember (obviously) seeing some of these on that channel before (to be expected) but was VERY Surprised by the IN-DEPTH segment on Dracula. I've never seen it before nor even heard of most of the tales connected. This DVD was well worth it!!!! You will NOT be disappointed! (Others on here have complained about DVD not working properly--that may be with theirs, but ours worked perfectly fine).
