This review is about buying any DVD's here on Amazon.com, please be aware of the sellers description because some sellers (such as: jmtsales) are selling either Asian / Import / or even bootleg DVD's. Thus you are not truly getting what you pay for because they may not work, the sound or picture quality is horrible and its not the original US version which I suggest that you buy. The two forensic teams come back together under the leadership of Grissom and Catherine just in time to tackle three separate investigations: a murdered couple found in bed in a suspicious trailer explosion; a beautiful stripper discovered dead and dumped in the worst part of town; and two bodies found baked and decomposed after spending five days in the trunk of a car exposed to the hot Vegas sun, forcing the CSIs to "wrap" up the evidence and bring it back to the lab for further analysis.

The team must investigate the death of a police officer who died during a shootout leaving hundreds of bullets on the crime scene. The case becomes complicated when it turns out that Sofia Curtis and Jim Brass were with the victim during the shootout. When it turns out the officer died from friendly fire, it is up to the team to find out who fired the fatal shot. Meanwhile, Sofia is wondering whether she fired the fatal shot or not. She decides to hide the fact that the officer stepped into her line of fire, afraid it will ruin her career.

Catherine and Brass investigate the case in which a man is found dead in a dumpster. It soon turns out the man had a serious food problem. The trail of his death soon leads to a hotdog-eating contest. Meanwhile, Nick and Sara investigate a not-so-amicable divorce with a bizarre twist. So bizarre it eventually lead to murder when both are found dead and it looks like the dog killed one of them.
127. Still Life

The CSI's are called out to investigate the disappearance of a boy whose father died four years ago. Soon a couple is arrested at a convenience store with a boy matching the description of the missing kid. The only problem is they both claim it is their son. Both parents have exactly the same picture of the boy, with a scar on exactly the same place on his face. They hope a DNA-test could confirm who the real parents are, but when this information comes to light, it lead to another bizarre twist, possibly murder.
128. Werewolves

The CSI team investigates the murder of a man suffering from a congenital hypertrichosis, causing him to grow excessive body hair. Elements of the case suggest a connection with a belief in werewolves. The case leads to the victim's sister, who suffers from the same disease. Because of her condition, she'd been hiding from the world, but it turns out that she's hiding facts that are vital to solving the case.

The CSIs investigate the stabbing of a motocross racer who was about to leave town with a young woman he had been living with. Also, Nick comes closer to finding the truth about his kidnapping.

A high roller who spent the night with a woman he had just met is found dead on the loading dock of the casino where he was staying. The investigation reveals that the victim won $10,000 in a pool game and was an assistant to a respected movie producer.

A man accused of murdering his wife and co-workers leads the CSIs on a wild ride through a busy casino, eventually barricading himself and a hostage in a casino hotel room. The CSIs process the evidence from the crime scene to determine whether or not the man acted alone or had an accomplice. One of the CSIs eventually steps in as a hostage negotiator, putting himself in danger.

In the season finale, the CSIs wait by the bedside of one of their own when he's shot in the line of duty. One CSI faces a hard choice by having the power of attorney over their injured friend and colleague. (More customer reviews)Although the original still firmly stands superior, CSI Miami is nevertheless, a good show that is easy to just sit, watch, and get pulled into. It's "tense, gripping, exciting drama" as I like to jikingly call, but it's not that far from the truth. Although the characters can sometimes be a little annoying, it really depends on what you like. If you like Caruso's cheesy maneurisms, or Emily Proctor's constant cheerfulness, it probably won't bother you and will keep you watching. These more positive and sunny characters (probably influenced by the city itself) are responsible for making Miami more enjoyable than New York, but also puts it behind Vegas. These are the season two episodes.
Blood Brothers: A model is the fatal victim of a hit and run, Horatio and Yelina examine their feelings for eachother.
Dead Zone: A man is discovered harpooned while searching for sunken treasure, and the death could be financially motivated.
Hard Time: A woman lured to a condo is found beaten to death, which leads Horatio to a Georgia prison.
Death Grip: A teen tennis star is kidnapped from her bedroom. Jeff Corwin guest stars
The Best Defense: Owners of a bar are shot dead by a masked gunman. Also, Calleigh's dad asks for her help with a murder case.
Hurricane Anthony: Trying to escape the fury of a hurricane, a man hits and kills another after being blinded by the storm. Other deaths are also investigated after the hurricane hits.
Grand Prix: Pit crewman is burned to death in a Miami race, which brings the team into the strange world of racing.
Big Brother: Horatio becomes driven to find his brother Ray's killer, and discovers a niece he never he had.
Bait: After a woman is attacked and killed by a shark, the case becomes strange after it is discovered she was shot first.
Extreme: A young woman is found thrown over the railing of a parking garage, but it is discovered she was already dead.
Complications: A man is discovered hanging in his two-story condo, but the evidence points to murder, and that the killer had a motive.
Witness to Murder: A man carrying $2 million is murdered after he confronts a man who hit his car. Delko and Speedle investigate the death of a girl killed at a rest stop
Slow Burn: A fire traps Delko and Alexx who are investigating a murder and find another body while trapped.
Stalkerazzi: A photographer is found murdered in his car which leads to 2 movie stars.
Invasion: A surf champion is found murdered which unveils a very troubled family and a person with a good motive for the death
Money for Nothing: An armored truck is robbed which leads to two deaths and an investigation of what happened to the real money.
Wannabe: A wannabe CSI is murdered when he is supposed to testify for the murder of a man stabbed with a butter knife
Deadline: Two young reporters are murdered which leads the CSI team to believe that a survivor's original story was false.
The Oath: A police officer's death proves to be murder and that it wasn't a random crime.
Not Landing: A small plane crashes and kills the pilot. After an investigation however, evidence shows the pilot died before the crash, which puts Horatio on dangerous ground.
Rap Sheet: A security guard is killed at a rap concert, while a supposedly dead woman wakes up in the morgue.
Mia/Nyc: A young girl finds both her parents murdered which leads Horatio to New York, where he meets the CSI New York team.Innocent: An adult film actress is murdered and the investigation goes arwy with the loss of a crucial piece of evidence.

(More customer reviews)Crime Scene Investigation: New York (CSI) is the second follow-up of the original CSI, which takes place in Las Vegas. The first sequel to CSI offered the 60 million dedicated viewers to the initial series a location change, as the sequel is set in the subtropical Miami. However, in one episode of CSI: Miami, a cold-blooded murderer brought the investigation to New York to find the killer. This development gave grounds for another change of scenery, which gave the viewers a chance to see the nitty-gritty indifference of the unsympathetic Big Apple's criminals. The mood in CSI: NY is far grimmer and more distant from humanity than its predecessors, as the bluish tone of the photography enhances the cold and unfeeling mood of this series murderous trail.
The first disc of this set of discs offers an opportunity for the audience to experience the initial episode from CSI: Miami that sets up CSI: NY. In this episode the forensic-analyst, Caine (David Caruso) of Miami-Dade crime lab, investigates a grisly double murder, which leads them to New York. Once in New York, Caine begins to cooperate with Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) to find the answers of the callous murderer's identity, as they put their two sharp minds together to solve the crime. In the opening of CSI: NY, the discovery of a female body neatly dressed and with no visible signs of struggle, or harm, immediately sets the tone of Mac's bleak world. To further the desolated atmosphere of CSI: NY, the audience learns about Mac's late wife who died during the 9/11 attack in Manhattan, which affects his sleeping patterns.
CSI: NY has a number of interesting characters, besides Mac, such as the dedicated Detective Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) and Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo). There is also the disillusioned doctor Sheldon Hawkes who has left his job as a doctor due to failure, and then there is the hot-tempered Don Flack (Eddie Cahill). The combination between these characters led by Mac and the horrific crimes that fall in their lap allows the audience to enter a dark and sinister domain, as they seek through scientific methods find the clue that solves the case. The TV series is not really entertainment, as it has some gruesome stories. However, CSI: NY offers an interesting and suspenseful perspective on science in the legal system, which also offers an interesting viewpoint on life and its function. It truly presents a rather fascinating experience, which definitely is worth the time.
CSI: NY brings the viewers an intriguingly dark police drama where science is the main tool in their investigation. The success on the show rests within the cast's chemistry and their performances, as they all enhance the experience with multifaceted individuality and persona. In addition, each episode presents a unique perspective on innovatively gruesome crimes and how the law enforcement pursues the criminals with relentless dedication. Thus, adding a third location to the CSI franchise was a good decision, as it still serves a large audience a suspenseful and captivating visual event.

The show no longer is as dark as it was during its first season, the storyline involving Mac Taylor's mourning of his wife's death on 9/11 has disappeared, Dr. Hawks is now in the field, instead of performing autopsies, and Aidan Burn is fired and replaced Lindsay Monroe.
The producers seem to have stuck to the CSI formula for 2/3 of the season to allow the dust to settle. The last few episodes bring in some interesting character developments: the sexual chemistry between Danny and Lindsay, the relationship between Danny and his brother, the wrapping up of the rapist storyline, Stella having a relationship with a man that turns violent, and the revelation of a lighter side to Mac.
In all, Season 2 is a good year of cases and glimpses of what direction this show wants to go in.

The subplots even tighter (especially the dynamic of Greg killing a young man in self defense, the emergence of Hodges as an unsung hero, the addition of the ultra-talented Liz Vassey to the cast, the chemistry between Catherine/Keppler and Grissom/Sara.) The miniature killer theme is right up the alley with Hitchcock's finest, and the acting performances put this CSI above all other CSI and Law & Order shows. Every single episode during season seven was done with the trademark of Bruckheimer and Zuiker's unyielding excellence and class. It was impossible to take your eyes off of the screen, whether you are wondering what the miniature killer will do next, or watch Marg Helgenberger give her best career performance in the episode "Leaving Las Vegas," or the lab techs come within an eyelash of solving the riddle of the miniature killer in "Lab Rats." For fans of this show, thinking back through the episodes, it is just amazing places season seven took us, and the cliffhanger that will lead us all into season 8 serves as only a small slice of the tasty treats that this show is capable of offering. After all these episodes, it never gets stale or contrived. Every now and then, a show comes along that defines a generation and a genre, much like Seinfeld did for sitcoms during its run, and Star Trek and Twilight Zone did nearly half a century ago for sci-fi/horror. This show is one for the ages. Pick up this DVD. Push play, and let this cast take you for one unforgettable ride!

I've searched around on other sites and *apparently* this DVD set is the first 12 episodes of Season 1. It *apparently* is a Canadian release, but who knows. All I know is if you own the Season 1 set, don't buy this. Mind you, all this is second hand info, but I found it on a site I trust. I myself don't own this set, I do own the 1st & 2nd Season sets, though, and HIGHLY recommend them. Hope this helps.

(More customer reviews)Although CSI is definitely one of the best shows on television, this dvd is a little bit of a letdown. It's bare bones as far as extras go (which is not taking advantage of the dvd format as far as I'm concerned). There's no subtitles (I'm not deaf, but what if I was?). The price is almost twice as much as any other season of a network television show (most others range from $40-$50). I still think it's a great show, but they could've done a better job. If you really wanna see it, rent it. UPDATE: DO NOT BUY THIS. They are re-releasing this in the coming months with extras and in anamorphic widescreen format (like they did with all the other releases) so SAVE YOUR MONEY and buy the set they should've released to begin with.

Killing a main character in the second season cliffhanger is a pretty shocking way to set up a third season. Ending with a bang, literally, NCIS returns with a excellent third season with the right combination of wit, drama, and cast. This is good television. And you dont let good television sit on the shelf too long, so hot on the heels of the release of the Second Season on DVD is the April release of the complete Season Three of NCIS.
NCIS is the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, responsible for crimes by and against members of the United States Navy and US Marine Corps. The team of NCIS agents introduced in Season 1 is led by former Marine Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), a tough no-nonsense leader and interrogator. The team also includes ex-homicide detective Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Mossad agent Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), goth forensics expert Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), computer specialist and rookie Agent Tim McGee (Sean Murray), and quirky coroner Doctor Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum). Season Three witnesses the aftermath of Kate Todd's murder by Ari, the introduction of Mossad agent Ziva David, and increased screen time for McGee and Abby. Harmon again does a knockout job as the lead, with his best work coming in the season premiere, as he grieves over the loss of Kate. Micheal Weatherley and Sean Murray continue to develop their competitive older-younger brother relationship, Perrette lights up the screen as Abby, and David McCallum delivers a refined and dignified performance.
Season three began with the two part episode Kill Ari 1 and 2, which examined the aftermath of Kate's death and the hunt for Ari. The introduction of Ziva and Director Jenny Shephard (Lauren Holly) seemed out of place and awkward considering the emotional tone, and it took five or six episodes for Ziva to be less of a cardboard character and more a part of the team. Her first really impressive episode came with Tony in the solid "Under Covers". Some of the better episodes include "Probie", when McGee shoots a man who turns out to be an undercover cop, "Mind Games", where Gibbs goes head-to-head with a serial killer, "Bait" which showcases a great performance by Weatherley. The season-ending Hiatus Parts 1 and 2 are decent episodes up to the last five minutes, which are incredibly rushed in order to get to the cliffhanger of Gibbs quitting NCIS.
The Season Three DVD box set contains all 24 episodes in widescreen for a total running time of almost 17 hours. Because of its quick turn-around time on the release, the extras are not as good as Season One, with only a few commentaries and featurettes anticipated. That is the unfortunate trade-off, but given that we get another full season of NCIS on DVD so quickly, its not a bad deal. Fans of the show will quickly snap this up, for those who have never watched before, if you liked JAG, CSI, or Bones, you will like this show. NCIS Season Three demonstrates exactly why this show is such a big hit. The DVD is on shelves in April. Highly Recommended.

NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is more than just an action drama. With liberal doses of humor, it's a show that focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations. (More customer reviews)Television is an medium which cannibilizes its own successes, where one hit show inspires more variations on the same formula every pilot season. Those shows that invariably succeed do so because they take a formula and make it unique to their show. This is the case with NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service. It first appeared to be a combination of CSI and JAG, not shocking considering JAG producer Bellisario's involvement as creator and executive producer and CSI's overwhelming success. What it showed throughout its first season is that NCIS stands out in its own right through clever writing and great acting, making for solid, entertaining TV drawing a devoted fan base.

By season 2 he is a full timer) and quirky coroner Doctor Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum). Cote de Pablo joins the cast in season three as Mossad agent Ziva David, replacing Sasha Alexander as the female lead on the show. Each actor does an exceptional job developing their character, especially Perrette who makes Abby one of the best and most intriguing characters on TV.
In Season One, the team investigates a broad range of crimes from the apparent parachute death of a Marine, sniper attacks against a Marine recruiter, the disappearance of a service member, and the infiltration of a Navy base by a suspected terrorist. Pilot episode "Yankee White" is especially good. The twists and turns in Season One are frequent and the tension is kept high, but this is a show clearly developing its feel and pace. Season Two gets us more involved in the characters and the show by putting them in harm's way, creating a lasting emotional buy-in. Tony goes undercover and goes missing in "Chained", while Ducky is hunted by a killer in "The Meat Puzzle", and Kate and Tony are stuck in a biohazard room after exposure to a bio agent in "SWAK". Other standout episodes include "An Eye for an Eye", "Conspiracy Theory", and "Lt. Jane Doe". The season ending episode "Twilight" sees the return of the Mossad-trained diabolical agent Ari, who held Ducky and Kate captive in Season One.

The DVD box sets contains all 70 episodes in widescreen. Picture and sound quality is good, but not exceptional. At the current prices, buying all three sets will save you $15 total, so you may want to consider buying them separate if you can find a better deal. Fans of the show will quickly snap this up. For those who have never watched the show before, if you liked JAG, CSI, or Bones, you will like this show. NCIS demonstrates exactly why this show is such a big hit for CBS and why it consistently places in the top 10. The DVD set is on shelves in April. Highly Recommended.

Dexter: The Second Season (2006) Review

(More customer reviews)Season two of this Showtime piece of excellence is just as good as the first season, if not better. If you haven't already met Dexter Morgan (played by Michael C. Hall), he's a Miami police forensic expert - he specialises in blood spatter - with a taste for murder all of his own. By twist of tale, Dexter's past comes back to haunt him this season and Dexter the hunter becomes Dexter the hunted. This takes the excitement and suspense up to new heights.
Dexter is still coming to terms with the season one's shock ending and initially finds (to his horror) that his killing skills are not what they used to be. And as if he didn't have enough worries, Sergeant Doakes (played by the lovely Erik King), the only one around who senses that Dexter is not all that he seems, is still very much on his case. Add to that the fact that his sister Debra (played by Jennifer Carpenter), who is still recovering from her own trauma from season one, is asked to join the FBI manhunt for him. The team is being led by Special Agent Lundy (played by Keith Carradine) and this is a development, Dexter remarks sardonically, that "makes for an awkward family dynamic".
Also very interesting to see this season, is the relationship between just-demoted Lt. Maria Laguerta (played by the brilliant Lauren Velez) and the new Lieutenant parachuted in over her head to take over her shift command, Lt. Esme Pasquale (played by Judith Scott). The cracks in Dexter's seemingly perfect relationship with girlfriend Rita (played by Julie Benz) that began to appear in season one, also begin to get wider this season so look out for Jaime Murray, fresh off her stint on BBC's drama "Hustle", playing the sexy, free-spirited Lila.
There's much more but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it. Twists and turns abound and each episode seems to bring a new shock for the viewer to take in. The humour is dark but it is hysterically funny - a shock in itself, considering the over-arching subject matter. Unless you're someone who gets squeamish easily (most of the violence is implied rather than shown but there's still violence and there's still plenty of blood) this is a definite must-see. I never thought the day would come when I would be rooting for a serial killer - even a fictional one - but here we are. That I'm doing so is more down to the excellent writing and Hall's easy charm, than to anything else. I'm as happy as Larry to know that there's already a season three on its way and I hope they take this series as far as is logically possible.
I say long live Dexter!

It gives you a riveting look at murder investigations from the start to the finish including all clues , interviews with suspects and other cops and investigators and most of all it is all real!!

(More customer reviews)One of the the best and most popular dramas on TV, CSI is often intense and chilling. The scenes showing the laboratory work are fascinating. Excellent portrayal of team dynamics with people alternately working together and competing against each other.
Here is an episode guide, with a tiny description:
1. Assume Nothing (Part 1): After two couples meet in a bar, one couple is killed. When it happens again, the CSI team suspects serial killers.
2. All for Our Country (Part 2): The lead suspects are killed and Grissom suspects it may have been a cop.
3. Homebodies: An old woman is found mummified. A teen is raped.
4. Feeling the Heat: A triple digit heat wave brings cases of a baby locked in a car, heat stroke, and a woman floating in a lake.
5. Fur and Loathing: A man is found dead dressed in a raccoon suit. A gunshot victim is found frozen in a deep-freezer.
6. Jackpot: A severed head is shipped to Dr. Robbins. Grissom goes to look for the body.
7. Invisible Evidence: At a preliminary hearing for a rape-murder case, the evidence is thrown out on a technicality.
8. After the Show: Catherine takes over a high profile case because the suspect is infatuated with her.
9. Grissom Versus the Volcano: Political pressure influences a sheriff trying to find who killed an air marshall with a car bomb.

Bones: The Complete Second Season (2005) Review

(More customer reviews)FOX Television has struck gold with the series, BONES. The series stars BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and ANGEL heartthrob David Boreanaz as FBI Agent Seely Booth and relative newcomer Emily Deschanel as Temperance Brennan.
The series is based on books written by real-life forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs. Reichs is also a real-life NEW YORK TIMES best-selling author. Viewers of the television show will quickly discover that the "Temperance Brennan" of the books is much different than the character in the television show. The literary Temperance is a divorced mother with a problematic family.
In the television show, Temperance is an orphan that was raised in foster care and has trouble relating to others on an interpersonal level. She also happens to be an author and writes about a forensic anthropologist named Kathy Reichs.
The two series, in some ways, are vastly different. But people who enjoy the show will probably enjoy the books. And people enjoy the books, once they get over the fact that their favorite heroine isn't presented the way she is in the novels, will have a blast with the television show.
BONES, derived from Seely Booth's pet name for Temperance and from the fact that a forensic anthropologist usually only has skeletons to work with, is a fascinating interplay of almost-romance, outstanding characters, and nifty little puzzles dealing with murder and mayhem. The chemistry between the two stars is palpable and believable. I haven't seen Boreanaz anything that I haven't liked him in. Deschanel was new to me, although I had seen her in a supporting role in GLORY ROAD that was much different than the Temperance role.
The almost-romance shtick has gotten potentially old after playing in MOONLIGHTING and LOIS AND CLARK, as well as many others. In fact, long-time mystery viewers will remember a show called REMINGTON STEELE that starred Pierce Brosnan and Stephanie Zimbalist. After those two characters hooked up, viewer interest seemed to wane. Series developer Hart Hanson has to know he's walking a thin line but by choosing to go this route. However, it plays beautifully at present.
The second season continues much of the same tone that was set in the first season. Booth has warmed up to Brennan and her crew, although he still continues to refer to them as the Squint Squad when referring to them among his peers at the FBI. Booth and Brennan also continue to look for her father and to find out what happened to her mother after Brennan's parents disappeared when she was just a teenager.
While Booth's romance with Brennan continues to fizzle this season, maybe even more difficult by the addition of Doctor Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor), Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Jack's (T. J. Thyne) romance buds, blossoms, and almost bears fruit. As it turns out, Saroyan is a pathologist (which is a conflict in field of study to a degree to an anthropologist), is Brennan's new boss, and is one Booth's ex-lovers.
Tensions mount between Booth and Brennan as each tries to figure out where the other fits into the work and personal scenes. However, thankfully, the idea of romance is merely hinted at and flirted with rather than moved into a starring role. This is a great choice for the series at the moment, but I don't know how much longer they can successfully pull this off.
In addition to interesting leads, Booth and Brennan are backed by fantastic supporting characters who often step into the limelight of an episode. Zack and Hodges continue to bring slapstick scientific moments to the episodes. Although I really didn't think they could top running the semi-frozen pig corpse through the wood chipper last season, they blew the roof off my expectations with the season opener when they simulated a burning death of a victim using Spam lunch meat. I can always count on those two for a laugh, either through Zack's deadpan delivery or Hodges's conspiracy theories.
Angela is the heart and soul of the investigatory unit. She reminds the team and the viewer that the victims in each episode were real people. Plus, she's gotta be one of the hottest babes on television today. I will never forget how she grabbed the attention of the airline clerk in the first season opener.
Only 21 of Season Two's 22-episode run are included on this box set. One of the episodes, "Player Under Pressure," was pulled out of the lineup during the regular season. The plot line was uncomfortably close to the Virginia Tech shootings. It will be aired this year in Season Three.
There were a lot of outstanding episodes this year, and it was good to see them again in this box set. I was happy to see that this set contains six single-sided discs instead of three double-sided discs like in the last set. On double-sided discs, it gets too complicated tried to figure out which side is up. Plus, I like the cosmetic appeal of having pictures of the actors and actresses on the top of the disc. This also helps make the discs immediately recognizable.
The special features include voiceovers on select episodes, two featurettes, and a gag reel that shows viewers how much fun this series must be to work on. Although the special features are still "bare bones" compared to what viewers want, it does add up to more reasons to pick up the box set.
BONES is one of the best hours of television currently on. If you haven't discovered the series for yourself and you're looking for something to fill the gap left by the cancellation of VERONICA MARS, this series may well be what you're looking for.

(More customer reviews)The fantastic first season of C.S.I. was only a tease at the ingenuity and innovation to come in season two. With bigger production values and more depth driven storylines; we see this television series entering it's prime thanks to superb performances from the ensemble cast and the ever addicting storytelling which allows the viewer to watch in awe as Grissom (William Petersen) and crew ever so dilligently discover the facts and solve the crimes, but not before a curveball or two are thrown to the viewer. Petersen is at his best while the rest of the cast, which includes Marg Helgenberger, Jorja Fox, and Gary Dourdan amoung others, gets better and better with every next episode. The DVD package itself is nicely put together, but a few more special features would have been nice (especially considering how Fox loads their X-Files DVD's with extras; come on Paramount how about putting some more effort into your releases?), but all together this is a solid deal. All in all, if you've been missing out on the best prime time network drama to hit since The X-Files, I strongly suggest picking up the first season before checking this out.
