Please if any of you had read a review by a A J Wilson, claiming that this was a special edition with 3 discs, and an extra 17 performances. This is not true! it is exactly the same as the cheaper American version. Why they advertise this copy as the "Definitive DVD collection" as opposed to the American copy of "Definitive performances collection" is beyond me. I ordered this copy after seeing the review by A J Wilson, only to find its exactly the same as the cheaper American copy.

Usually I'm not the kind of person to go buy a concert of an artist. I was on my way from the USA on Lufthansa and saw this video in the in-flight entertainment menu - decided to give it a try - was pleasantly surprised. Bought the DVD as soon as I got back home. Would definately recommend this to ANY Rihanna fan! It's just awesome!!!!

Pink - Live from Wembley Arena (2007) Review

Pink - Live from Wembley Arena (2007)

This is the must-have concert from the amazing P!nk, featuring 2 hours of video and 21 great live tracks. The big surprise for me on this concert was the addition of some incredible circus-class acrobatics, as P!nk sings live while doing some very demanding stunts suspended 50 feet above the stage, no net,in a routine I could only compare to Cirque de Soleil. This woman is in top physical shape, and her vocals have never been better. From heart-wrenching ballads like "Dear Mister President" to pop-rock like "Get the Party Started" and "Trouble", this eclectic performer is definitely on top!
I purchased this disc from Amazon to get the UN-EDITED version. It is not that I crave explicit lyrics, P!nk does not use them to excess, but does not hold back when it is appropriate to her statement, and I just cannot see buying a concert that is bleeped as found at WMart. Why they can sell uncut splatter films, but feel compelled to censor musical artists is beyond me...Amazon comes through with the uncut version as the artist intended. Even on this "explicit contents" disc there are a couple of bleeps in the bonus feature footage probably because it aired on MTV, but at least none during the concert itself.

Cher - The Farewell Tour (2003) Review

Cher - The Farewell Tour (2003)

Cher has been singing for over 40 years and she did it very good and I think that she'll continue doing it. So in 2002 she decided to start what it was going to be her Farewell Tour.
This show is similar as her 2000 Believe Tour but with more production and quality (with this I'm not saying that it was bad, it was very good actually but this is way much better).
On this show you can see Cher performing all her hits plus others that were on the program but weren't added to the final cut of the concert that was recorded in the American Airlines Arena in Miami Beach. As every Cher show you'll see lots of costumes changing, specail effects, lots of dancers and all Cher's Extravaganza. She has been very clever doing it now that she can do it very good without showing weakness of any kind.
Some of the songs here are her #1's "Gypsies, tramps and thieves", "Dark lady", "Half-breed" and "Believe" plus her other hits like "If I could turn back time", "Just like Jesse James", "I found someone" and "Song for the lonely".
She covered once again as the opening number U2's "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" (which honestly sounds better on her).
And finally among the special features you'll find the new "If I could turn back time" video, 3 extra live songs, Cher's special version of West Side Story (not big deal) and behind the scenes.
Very good Cher you did it again.
