Very interesting features also. It leaves me dying to get the Buddy Rich Show DVD when that comes out. That will have Buddy with the best- Mel Torme, Ray Charles, Lionel Hampton, Stan Getz, and more.
Where has this been all our lives? It should have been out in 1982.
Good things come to those who wait.
This is a must have for Buddy fans.

In 1982, Buddy Rich filmed three shows over three days at the Statler Hotel in New York. They were never aired--in fact, never edited. This DVD, Buddy Rich Up Close, is a special edit of The Buddy Rich Show. It spotlights six songs: Love For Sale, Bugle Call Rag, West Side Story, Birdland, Greensleeves, and Dancing Men--with as many cameras as possible focusing on Buddy and his incredible drumming technique. Included are the show's main edit plus three different versions of audio (drums hot and band hot) as well as a slow motion version. Running time is 116 mins.

Psych: The Complete Fourth Season (2009) Review

(More customer reviews)Psych is by far my favorite show, so forgive me if I'm a little biased. This season has been great in terms of episode quality (granted some plots are weaker than others, such as the episode with John Cena, but that's to be expected). The acting by the main cast is nothing short of wonderful, and the writing, although often silly, is never stupid. The silliness give Psych much of its charm without making it annoying to watch. As far as over-arching stories go, season 4 has been great for character development, with many characters breaking new ground. We get more character back stories, especially for Juliet, which is rewarding for devoted fans.
As far as the DVD itself goes, although it has not been released, if it is the same as the last three seasons, there should be no complaint. The packaging is solid and never annoying (I actually think it's pretty cool), the commentaries on selected episodes are always very funny and enjoyable, as are the podcast and video commentaries. Any fan of Psych will want to buy this season and add it to his/her collection.
