(More customer reviews)You'll love this if you're a Molly Shannon fan. The plot is average, production values are okay, the kids are cute and the humor is sometimes funny. There's lots of Molly, though, which saves this rather average made-for-TV movie and makes it sparkle.

A whimsical, lighthearted and touching comedy, MORE OF ME stars Molly Shannon (SNL; Year of the Dog) as Alice McGrath, an overworked and overextended wife, mother and career woman who discovers a unique way of coping with the stress and demands of her chaotic life. Torn between her desire to achieve perfection as an environmental activist, as a mother to her rambunctious six-year-old twins, and as a wife to her civil engineer husband (Steven Weber, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip), Alice becomes overwhelmed and hits her breaking point, splitting into three separate versions of herself, each with a distinct personality to take over a different aspect of her life. Her emotional side is focused on being the perfect wife; her rational side steps in to take control of her career; and her conscience becomes the quintessential selfless mother. At first, Alice revels in her newfound freedom, but the limitations of her many characters start to manifest when her three personalities begin to wreak havoc in each of her worlds, and she realizes that her sum is better than her individual parts.
