Good series from across the pond... This is the 2nd season DVD of the British series which follows the cases of Detectives Kate Ashurst "Ash" and Emma Scribbins "Scribbs". Ash and Scribbs are a very good team and there is good interaction and humor between them and with their boss as they solve the crimes that come across their desks in the upper middle class town of Middleford. Each show captures your interest.

The complete second series of the BBC America mystery hitCaroline Catz and Lisa Faulkner return as the cheeky police detectives Kate "Ash" Ashurst and Emma "Scribbs" Scribbins, still cracking wise as they crack six all-new cases in the tony British ’burb of Middleford. "Let me see," observes one of their adversaries. "You must be the blonde, dizzy, but at the same time practical, down-to-earth one." (That would be Scribbs.) "And you’re the dark, intense, ever-so-slightly neurotic one." (That would be Ash.) "Just one question-who does the jokes?" Actually, they both do, skewering middle-class mores while solving all manner of baffling mysteries. Their bemused boss (Jeremy Sheffield) keeps his charges under a loose rein-so long as their unorthodox style leads to closing cases. Join Ash and Scribbs on their suburban beat, and see why their unique blend of humor and chutzpah has won legions of devoted mystery fans on both sides of the Atlantic.
