The creator of Our Gang, Hal Roach, felt that rather than watch kids act like little adults, it would be much more fun to watch them behave as they really dolike kids! And he was right. Audiences adored watching the childish mischief and hilarious antics of the ""gang,"" which included Spanky, Alfalfa, Stymie, Buckwheat, Porky, Butch, Wheezer, Chubby, Waldo, and more.
