Cabin By the Lake (2000) Review

(More customer reviews)I originally saw this movie on Lifetime Movie Network and liked it from the beginning. The screenplay writer is creepy, but does an excellent job of switching from creepy to the "average" guy when he is away from his house and interacting with his friends. The movie is not really worthy of the "R" rating it was given however. My 10 and 12 year old daughters watched it with me (after I had already seen it) and didn't have any issues with it being too scary or violent as there really isn't much violence or terror, but I may be jaded. My favorite part of the movie is when the unresolved victim participates in trying to capture her tormentor. Overall, the movie is good until the final scene, which was just creepy, but I recommend watching this movie for its interesting twists and turns.
