The entire series contains myriads of plots that seemed to entangle the main character Ling "Linghu Chong". The second volume seemed to have toned down a bit since Vol 1 where all the characters were introduced in a very fast pace and made it quite confusing. Vol 2. Disc 1 was about his relationship with his family "The Righteous Party", how he was treated and why. Vol2. Disc 2 (MY FAVORITE IN THIS ENTIRE SERIES) was about his relationship with the other party "The Evil (Holy) Party", his family's enemy.
This is a very good series and the actors and actresses are very good. It kept me entertained until the very end. One drawback, the English Subs. Sometimes the subs appear in less than a second or delayed that I had to scan back to figure out who's line it was. There are a few grammar and spelling mistakes but barely noticeable.
