All but one of the 14 shorts on DIRECT SOURCE's POPEYE THE SAILOR were produced by FAMOUS STUDIOS (Paramount's cartoon division). The sole FLEISCHER-made title here, "Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp," a 21 minute in-color special release, has Popeye uttering the legendary words, "I don't know what to say... I've never made love in Technicolor before."TOP TEN FORGOTTEN CARTOONS (from GTV) features the magnificently hued and animated "It's Spring" (directed by William Hanna), plus several more unusual shorts.CONTENTS of "Popeye the Sailor" (includes synopses)--
