(More customer reviews)If you want all three animated dvds plus more.. just buy the entire season on the 2 disc set. These episodes are all on there plus the re-maining episodes that complete the season. Please don't be fooled by this greedy, market-mentality. I LOVE spider-man.. but, I don't want others to be taken advatage of. Otherwise, the material is A+++ which is why I still gave it 5 stars.. I don't want it to poorly affect quality Spider-Man product. :)

(More customer reviews)"Powers Revealed" continues the issuance of episodes from "X-Men: Evolution." This disc includes the following episodes from Season 2:
1) The Beast of Bayville - the episode describing how Hank McCoy joins the X-Men.
2) Adrift - Cyclops and his brother Havok are lost at sea.
3) On Angel's Wings - one of the best of the entire series, this special Christmas episode focuses on Warren Worthington III, and the X-Men's & Magneto's attempts to recruit him to their opposing sides.
4) African Storm - An African witch-doctor steals Storm's powers.
These eps are all great, but it would be nice if Warner Bros. would just release these shows by the season, as opposed to four eps to a disc.

(More customer reviews)I bought this video for my four year old son because he's a Spider-man fanatic. Little did I know that this series is not meant for children. When we started to watch with him, I couldn't believe what I was hearing so I flipped the box over to find the rating (never dreaming there was one since I bought this in a toy store right next to a stack of Teletubbie videos!) There is a PGV rating on the back for violence but they don't tell you about the adult language as well as the sexual references. Needless to say we shut it off and tried to distract him with a more appropriate video for his age. I don't know if I'd let my 16 year old watch this!

The Incredible Hulk (Animated Series) (1996) (2003) Review

(More customer reviews)This disc showcases the first four episodes of what I believe was a 13-episode single season (which wasn't followed up). The art is passable, above the level of GI Joe and Transformers, and closer to the animation in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters or (if you remember this) Dino Riders series. The episodes are self-containing and don't really branch out and connect to other episodes (other than the two-part "Beast" story). There are other supporting characters other than the Hulk shown in this series, which makes it an interesting mix.
The extras are definitely worth your while. The 1966 clip is hilarious, especially in comparison to the recent movie and this DVD. Pay attention to the inappropriately paced and melodied opening theme song and the art, basically stills with large "Pow!" and "Bam!" type sound effects layed over, or shifting eyes. The trivia and the Stan Lee Soapbox should keep you entertained for a good 15 to 25 minutes, which also goes for the interview with writer Peter David.
At the end of your viewing session, you'll have a more complete understanding of what the Hulk is about and how things about the Hulk have evolved, kind of like a mini-documentary. Recommended for Hulk fans, 80s thru 90s cartoon afficionados, but not so much for anime fans or those who were disappointed by the live movie and have only a little Hulk knowledge.
