The Puffy AmiYumi show is an animation that is based upon two Japanese Rock Stars known as Ami and Yumi along with their manager Kaz. They tour around the world in their tour bus, having different adventures in each episode. The rock band also bases the animation around their J-Rock style music which is known as Japanese Rock'N'Roll, Their music is very catchy and can also be enjoyable to listen too, the animation used in the show, places Ami and Yumi off as two cute best friends. They also use their friendship to help each other to acomplish various goals in each episode, which shows how strong a friendship can be. Thats the basic story of the animation.
This animation has a funny and carefree aspect meaning that any age group would be able to sit down and enjoy it. The show can also contain rude and spiteful comments which are harmless. Others say that the characters are rude,nieve and disrespectful. But you'll find that in 70% of animated shows that are shown at this present day a.k.a (Simpsons, Megas XLR etc)
