If you are reading this review, you likely have at least one of these questions:
1) Does this 3 season bundle contain more content than buying the 3 seasons separately? No. It simply shrinkwraps each of the first 3 season boxes into one bundle.
2) Does this bundle cost less than buying the 3 seasons separately? It can, depending on shipping costs, but you can buy the 3 seasons separately used for less here on Amazon currently.
3) Is this television series worth watching and worth buying ALL 3 seasons? Enthusiastically yes. Each season is amazing, and the quality has consistently been exceptional. This is not simply a series about "Lesbianism." The series focuses on many "L" words, but if I had to choose one, the word is "Love." The series is able to take a closer, slower paced, and intimate look at the worlds of women and the many manifestations of their love. This series, more than any other television drama, has the capacity to share perspectives about real human relationships. The series is not afraid to face tough issues that often face all people, ranging from privacy, sexuality, menopause, adoption, gender identification, self cutting, drug addiction, unrequited love, work politics, writing, sexual honesty and so much more. It gives us characters with many different types of religion, sexual preference, relationship definitions, and personality types and makes us care for them more than we initially saw coming. If you want to understand more about people who you care about, but who are 'different' than you, this series is a great asset. If I had to have only one television series I could watch (and rewatch) from the last 5 years, it would easily be the "L" word. Don't miss a season.
