It can go from a simple idea with the Cats and Kaz to an all out "full on riot Manga Robot explosion" This is a light hearted simple show that has a fun and enegenic appeal. The designs and backgrounds are great. Highly recommended for all ages.

(More customer reviews)HiHi Puffy AmiYumi is a decent animated show. It has the fun attitude that most animated shows lack. The Puffy AmiYumi show is an animation that is based upon two Japanese Rock Stars known as Ami and Yumi along with their manager Kaz. They tour around the world in their tour bus, having different adventures in each episode. The rock band also bases the animation around their J-Rock style music which is known as Japanese Rock'N'Roll, Their music is very catchy and can also be enjoyable to listen too, the animation used in the show, places Ami and Yumi off as two cute best friends. They also use their friendship to help each other to acomplish various goals in each episode, which shows how strong a friendship can be. Thats the basic story of the animation.
This animation has a funny and carefree aspect meaning that any age group would be able to sit down and enjoy it. The show can also contain rude and spiteful comments which are harmless. Others say that the characters are rude,nieve and disrespectful. But you'll find that in 70% of animated shows that are shown at this present day a.k.a (Simpsons, Megas XLR etc)

Where On Earth Is Carmen San Diego? was a popular young adult educational series during the 90's. Prior to the series Carmen Sandiego was popular computer game series. The television show further spread awareness about the title.
The Emmy (r) award winning animated series is now available on DVD for the first time. The DVD set includes 13 episodes from the shows first season which began in 1993.
This series is recommended for young adults between the ages of 8 and 14. Younger kids may find themselves lost at times and older kids may not find the show very challenging.
Special features include opening title sequences from around the world, storyboard to screen: The Stolen Smiles, original art galleries and episode trivia.
Where On Earth Is Carmen San Diego? is a great series that teaches about geography and the world.

(More customer reviews)First off I have to say is there have been rumors that 4 episodes would be missing off this set beacuse the entire run consisted of 52 episodes and Shout was only releasing 24 shows to a set which would come to 48 shows, 4 missing! The rumors are half right! Shout fought hard to include the entire 4 missing episodes but could only put the cartoon portions in as bounus episodes due to problems beyond their control. Rest assured that all of the regular 24 episodes will have their live action counter-parts!
